I asked this since when women reach the MenoP. , they are about 45-55, and that time, even if they were in a condition to reproduce, they wouldn't have, so what is so bad about menopause?

Believe me, I welcome menopause..I'm perimenopausal. Imagine, no periods! I've had my tubes tied since I was 25, so I'm not boohooing over no more child bearing years. But with menopause comes those hormone changes, which makes you feel PMS all the time. Your'e anxious, then drained of that and become depressed. Plus, those hot flashes can be a real winner!

For some it means not continuing to have a family when they want to but the biggest reason that menopause can be depressing is the way the hormones change as one goes thru that phase.
