I believe in Jesus the Creator of all things.
Col 1:
3We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
4Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,
5For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
6Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:
7As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
8Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.
9For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
19For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
Genesis 1-3
God created man to use their freewill to decide to be His children.

I don't think the issue is so black and white. I don't think that neither evolution nor creationism is correct.
Because if you look at evolution, it says that ALL things have a common ancestor. Like a dog and a human came from the same animal. But in reality dogs can only have dogs and humans only humans so how it is that this other ancestor was able to have different species of off springs. Even if you take into account the whole idea that it supposely happen over millions of years, the whole idea of carbon dating fossils is inaccurate because they assume that the amount of C14 in the atmosphere has been the same throughout time which completely throws off the whole carbondating thing to the thrash because it is a test full of assumptions. Also they say that the big bang happen when a small dot of complete nothingness exploded (btw if there wasnt anything before the big bang than what actually exploded?). They say this dot spun very fast when it exploded, assuming that the theory of conservation of angular motion exists, how is it that planets, and other things in the universe spin at different directions when they are suppose to spin in the same direction due to the spining of the big bang.
Why does our existence need to have a purpose? And who is to say that we haven't already accomplished our purpose and now we arejust here?
Creatonism says that God made everything, well he created Adam and Eve. They had 2 children and THATS IT, so how could it be that the entire human species could have come from 2 people who's only offsprings were 2 boys.
I dont think either of these 2 options is the correct one and yet they can both be true. Like evolution shows how it happen but creationism explains why it did.

Why does it have to be an either/or question?
Why can not the divine mind of God have planned creation and implemented the universe through the Big Bang and evolution?
This is what I believe although I'm not sure about the purpose (or do you really mean porpoise as in the playful aquatic animal?)

I believe in nothing. A belief is an idea one accepts without any proof. I look at evidence and think about it in order to know, not just believe. There is much proof to support Evolution but none at all to support any creation myth. Man evolved from simpler primates, as fossils show us. Evolution does not tell about the origin of the universe. Evolution and the Big Bang are in different areas of science, i.e. biology and cosmology. We have no purpose, except any we make for ourseves. That is teleology a branch of philosophy, not science.

"so a techniques from all that I herd it is not attainable to have self assurance in the two evolution and god.." No, at an analogous time as some denominations % lack of expertise, the everyday public of knowledgeable non secular people settle for evolution. "Evolution is notably plenty the thought of each little thing beginning from one atom top?" No, evolution is the thought of ways existence diverse and keeps to diversify. the massive bang concept describes how the universe emerged from a singularity (which isn't comparable to an atom. "properly believing that God made that one atom might advise you have self assurance in the two top?" definite. there are one in each of those non secular ideals that enable for the universe ("advent") to be seen a extra precise checklist of itself than historic traditions.

Can't really answer for everyone, however I don't think evolution is just a belief, there's some actual proof backing up that concept, whereas the existence of God is really an assumption.

1:Ok, firstly, we weren't "made by monkeys!!!!" we have a common ancestor. Every organism evolves and adapts to its environment and as the environment changes so will organisms. Ok so we evolved.
2: universe space, time, absaloutley EVERYTHING came from the big bang.
3:we evolved. There is no divine purpose, but I'd say the closest thing to it would be to reproduce and raise our children - pass on our genes.

1)If it was God, then who created God? A natural evolution where we share a genetic heritage with other primates (instead of being made by them?!?) is more probable than anything supernatural. And it is backed up by overwhelming amounts of genetic, fossil, geologic, astronomic and archaeological evidence. The evidence offered by believers is "Because I said so, that's why".
2)The Earth came from elements settling out of a Stellar Nursery. There is no evidence that anything supernatural occurred at all. If you have new evidence , please submit it to something peer reviewed!
3)Our porpoise? You realize what a porpoise is? Of course not, you are a Creationist. sea mammals just sprung into being because god made them. Common DNA and fossil evidence mean nothing to you.
