Yeah this is pretty normal. I started mine in December, and didn't have another one until March, then it came every two months a couple of times, and when I turned 14 it got kind of regular. When your mother got hers is a pretty good indicator of how old you are when you have yours.
My doctor also said that you become pretty regular within 3 years of growing pubic hair. What you are going through is pretty normal. I'd give it another year or so, and if you're still really irregular, talk to a doctor.

You're new...give your body time to get regular. Sometimes it takes a few months or even up to a year or two for your body to regulate so don't worry too much. If you start having back to back periods too close together then worry and see a doc. Also don't assume, IF you are sexually active at all...please don't be...that no period means no preggies. I got mine when I was 12 and wasn't regular until I was about 15 I think..then they were like clockwork and have been pretty much ever since. Love in Christ, ~J~

Well when you first get your period it ussually fluxuates. You should see a gonocologist (however you spell it) because that isnt a normal fluxuation, there also may be something wrong. I had to take pregnancy pills to striaghten and regualte my period. Having your period regualr is healthy.

Yes, this can be normal when starting out with having periods. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well whenever you have your next check up to see what they say.

If your worried, go see your doctor, but I would not worry yet as you are young and your body is trying to set itself up a pattern and sometimes it can take few months to get itself sorted.
