My birthday is coming up and I really want to go to a club that plays house music. Are there any suggestions on where to go in San Antonio, Tx? I would prefer a lounge type place.

A good source of information on the local music and club scene is the San Antonio Current Magazine. They list clubs and the music type and special club events. Also they are on the web just search on SACurrent. I have used the current for years as my source for club information (even when I published a competeing magazine in the 80s and 90s).
Though you could check out The Mix, or Roxy or some events at Sunset Station, depending on when your birthday is.

How about Jack's on Thousand Oaks? Or, go to La Tuna across from Blue Star Arts Complex downtown. It's an outdoorsy place but fun. Finally on Wetmore and Thousand Oaks there is a pretty good band in the little Wetmore shopping area behind the Texaco. Fun, fun. Happy Birthday.
