The first question isn't solvable. It's really only a matter of how satisfied you are with the answer you find. Nobody knows for sure any truth, but some are louder than others in their claims. It's such a vague word though; what do people really mean when they want the ultimate truth? Do they want to know reality for what it is and therefor know the way they should live? The truth is just how you take things, everyone has their own truths and none of them are any better or worse than the ones before them.
But, your second question is one I can answer. Life does infact have a meaning, but it's not because of some higher power or some hidden purpose. It could be, but that's not where I see meaning. The thing is, everything we do is pointless. That is because we will one day die and also the memory that we were once alive. So every action we take has no meaning. So, nothing we do matters. Which means, that the only thing that does matter, is what we do. We can create our own meaning and our own purpose and as far as our own personal perception goes it's true. We have an amazing ability to create something from nothing, because even though life is meaningless inherently we can create meaning ourselves.
If you noticed I didn't tell you how to live. Nobody can rightfully tell you that and be correct. Life is hard, we are blind people scaling a cliff without hands when it comes to those questions and the questions of how to live life. When it comes down to it, we just have to and give it what we have.

Jesus Christ is the just the ultimate truth. He is The Truth. Don't live life without Him. The meaning of life is to love. For love values live the most.

when you are at the time in life that's most fun, playful and you have everything done for you,no worries in the world and life is one big game, you are a child and too young to understand or appreciate those years..when you eventually have freedom to do things as a teenager you don't have the knowledge you will have in later years to make the right choices then, which leads to the lifestyle you have in your twenties.you may realise then that there were a lot of things that could have been done differently, and a diff lifestyle had..but its a long trek back to change things.you then spend almost eighteen years trying to drum that into your children, for it to be falling on deaf ears.and by the time you have all the knowledge for life, you are elderly and your body is probably failing you so you are left to sit and think of how you wish you could remember your childhood years, you wish you had the sense when you were a teenager and wish you knew all through life what you do now..you just cant win...

Hi,
The ultimate meaning to life is:
If you wake up in the morning and you are able to look out of you window and hear the birds sing, see the sun shine in the sky or hear and see the rain fall, then your still alive.
The meaning and ultimate truth of life is life.

The ultimate truth is that you can not prevent the inevitable. Life is being able to work with the circumstances you are dealt, and soak up enough knowledge to be able to still have some happy times and have wonderful people in your life. To give your life meaning and not wast the precious gift you have been given.

Death is the ultimate truth. You can lie through life, there is no escaping death. And when you are about to die, you realise the meaning of life.

Or
There is no ultimate truth although there is plenty of groundless speculation.
Our only purpose is to procreate just like a virus, an elephant, a squid or a gum tree.
Life has no meaning in itself other than that which we each choose to give it although many scammers selling ‘religious concepts’ make good money out of conning the gullible.

if you ultimate truths do not exist, and you state that it is an ultimate truth that they do not exist, then that is ultimately true. so the ultimate truth is that ultimate truth is a reality.
life is self defined, you cannot give an exact definition to it.
