What kind of mouse was that in the movie Stardust?

The mouse that Tristan becomes in the movie Stardust was soooo cute! I wanted to know what species it was so I can get one for a pet :) Anyone here a mouse expert?

Looked like a regular feeder mouse... Or a field mouse... It was cute but, I don't it was a "breed" or anything like that ...

I thought he was cute too and am planning to get one for a pet. He is actually in the squirrel family and is called a dormouse or dormice for plural. They come from Africa originally.
