not really because he basically watched them get murdered and not humanely slaughtered. Hey I did not know I even liked dogs until I had one barbecued

Yours is an insensitive question, but it provides the opportunity to bring up something more important going on with this issue. What Vick did was wrong. But the NFL decision-makers may decide that the league-imposed punishment for animal abuse will be more severe than the punishment given to other football players who are convicted of spousal abuse. How does that make sense?

It's more the WAY he killed the dogs, not just the fact that he killed the dogs. And his version of a hot dog eating contest ...well I won't get into that.
