Yours is an insensitive question, but it provides the opportunity to bring up something more important going on with this issue. What Vick did was wrong. But the NFL decision-makers may decide that the league-imposed punishment for animal abuse will be more severe than the punishment given to other football players who are convicted of spousal abuse. How does that make sense?
