The Dr put me on Yasmin when I asked about going on Yaz, I don't think she'd heard of Yaz. Is there a difference? What is it? Are there any different effects etc?

Yaz and Yasmin have the same ingredients, drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol, but Yaz has a little less ethinyl estradiol (0.02 mg) than Yasmin (0.03 mg). They have the same dose of drospirenone.

The only difference between the two is that the Yaz has a lower dose of the medication than the Yasmin.
