To be honest it sounds like you threw a bunch of words together to sound smart. That or I just can't exactly comprehend what you mean. It seems like you mean to say, 'As we become more aware of ideas, will it destroy the people who think they know everything?"

To answer your question, if you're using Great Thinkers literally and not sarcastically (as in people who are actually great thinkings, not people who believe themselves to be great thinkers) I would have to say it shall not, because a truely great thinker, would not have an ego in the first place. People who are great thinkers are great at asking questions, and asking questions is the mark of a humble man.
