Happy Days- something distasteful about a leatherman that takes young guys into the toilets and refers to it as his office.

God, it's just such fertile ground! On what criteria do we choose?
The first show that popped into my head was "The 700 Club". Wow, is that show worthless. I used to have to watch it in day care when I was a wee little lad, and I have to say that more than anything else, listening to the constant torrent of crap spewing out of Pat Robertson's mouth convinced me Christianity just wasn't the way to go.
If there was a just and loving God, Pat Robertson would have been eaten alive by a freak horde of leeches, fleas, and ticks, or his head would have been crushed by a meteorite, long ago. I take the continued existence of this pestilence on humanity as a sign the atheists just might be right.
Then there's just about every reality show on television, where people are whisked away to exotic locales and filmed as they live a life of mystery, intrigue, and drama, and are put through rigorous and intricate challenges to win fame and fabulous prizes... you know, just like in YOUR every day life.
And don't even get me started on American Idol. Holy Hell, I thought the American public would have gotten fed up with being completely screwed after the 2000 Presidential election, but along came Simon Cowell to prove that Bush was just the warm-up in an orgy-fest of bending people over and raping everything of value right out of their... well, I wasn't going to get started on it, was I?
However, I think on principal I have to pass up all the Idol clones, pools of Jerry Springer sleaze, and absolute torpor of watching what happens when you lock thirteen people in a house together, refuse to let them leave, and then take away Jack Nicholson's axe, to go with "Hogan's Heroes".
Why?
Because if you think about it, the pitch to that show had to be as follows:
"Okay, we want to do a show about seven American soldiers, who are captured by Nazi forces and put in a concentration camp at the height of World War II, and are desperately trying to escape. It's a comedy!"
MOST... TASTELESS... IDEA... EVER.

Greetings! I really have to think about that one...most of television is garbage.
I really despise most sit-coms, especially with "cutseypie kids who have to say crass things to their parents and friends and have us think it's cute and cool to talk back to parents.
I guess what galls me the most are the reality shows. Especially the ones where you see the people trying to undermine and cut out others so they can score a million bucks. That just leaves a horrendous mark on our current society. The worst of them are the ones where people cut out others so they can score the hunk or babe, or who will be the first to cheat on their spouse. I can't think of one single show that is close to redeeming, so I lump all of them together and call that the worst.
Take care.

I beloved it its like an particularly undesirable vehicle crash, its undesirable yet you won't be in a position to help watch it. It became additionally plenty extra spectacular than different VH1 trash shows like daisy of love. those adult males are so awkward its hilarious, while the guy have been given his piggy economic agency smashed i became crying. He talks incredibly gay.

Anything reality TV!!! I hate it so much. The fact that it's called "reality TV" is such an insult to reality. These programs exist just to reassure people;" Look at these A$$holes, i could do that." I would never, ever be caught watching any of it.

CSI, Special Victims Unit. I think it is just plain sick of the network to use the plight of "special victims" for tv entertainment. Even if the stories are fiction, they closely resemble true crimes. Disgusting!

I think...
something like The Simple Life
or the Bachelor
or all the reality stuff they keep on airing on TV
However, I think Flavor of Love and I Love New York and all that was hilarious, although I don't know why.
