Yesterday, after my neighbour Boris, came over and asked if he could borrow a teaspoon of sugar to water his car with, I realized after he left.. Boris has been dead for 5 years. But that's not all... I found my pill bottles after years of them missing. My doctor told me I to look every where for them and I did. Well, after Boris appeared for sugar, they reappeared in the cupboards. What the hell is going on, Beth? Beth!? Are you there?

Beth's dead, too.

They're all dead, and you're really in a desert in Mozambique.

I know what happen! You wore yourself out looking for your pill bottles and took a cat nap in your favorite chair. While you were a sleep you dreamed about Boris. He asked for the sugar because that was the way your mind could tell you where your pills are. Your OK!

My teacher in college explained memory loss due to getting older very well:

Your mind is like a filing cabinet. When your young you carefully file your memories away and can find them very easily. As you get older the filing cabinet is getting fuller so you just stick the memories any where they will fit. So now your memories are now harder to find!

The differents between normal memories loss and Alzheimer's is: Normal is to forget where you put your keys.
Alzheimer's is to look at your keys and not remember what they are for!

Your fine!

I would say to go and see a doctor, you may have a mental or personality disorder (Iam no doctor) the doctor will be able to give you help you need. Be honest with them, don't exaggerate, if you are honest then it will be much easier to get better and your life on track. About the cleaning thine, I think you probably have Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) Hope I could help

Laine, Laine, I fear you've been watching too many movies, but actually, I have to admit that you were pretty original and even a wee bit funny. Now be a dear and run along to your favorite site (why, movies, of course!) and stop trying to scare people. Beth is there and she's waiting for you!

I would ask how you wash a car with a teaspoon of sugar but I'm sure nobody would know the answer unless they have tried it themselves... o__O
Anyways, are you sure you weren't having a dream? People in my family has had dreams of seeing people, and when the person leaves they realize that the person is dead. o___o
I doubt people would agree that you temporarily entered the other side but I guess that could be real.. maybe....

Are you on drugs? My mother-in-law is taking some kind of pain pills that make her hallucinate. She says it's the only time she gets to talk to her grandmother and grandfather.

Sounds perfectly normal. I'm in a senior community and we often compare to see who is the weirdess.

Laine... you're fine... these young whippersnappers just don't have a clue what is happening with you..... I don't either, but that don't mean much... the things that happen to me are a little 'different', too, if ya know what I mean!!.. LOL!.... and, I know from experience, that if you THINK you're losing your mind, you're NOT... cuz when you ARE, you don't know it at all..... smile at Boris next time you see him.. he helped you find your meds!!!.... are they outdated?.. better check...

I think a trip to the M.D. is a good idea. Make an appointment immediately and ask a friend or family to help you get to it. I've questioned my sanity in the past, it is very scary and disconcerting. Luckily medical tests reassured me... Good luck.

You sound like you took a hallucinogenic drug. I hope you're not alone because you sound unstable. Maybe you just woke from a bad dream. Are you trying to get ideas for a psycho story. Help me here... I'm trying to understand what the h**l you are talking about.
