I don't care about racism, I think everyone's heart beats the same and their stomach flutters in the same manner whenever they see someone they like. Leading to the fact I have a crush on a white boy (I'm 13, I think he is too). I notice him looking at me, he has been since last year. We don't talk but I like him a lot and he always looks at me. I don't know how to translate his actions.. I really like him, for the 3rd time. :-) No, I'm not here to hear your 1940's ignorant outlook on sticking to your kind and blah. I'd like to hear some advice on how to catch the attention of this "white boy"? Thanks!

You sound like a very smart girl, so why are you asking a bunch of dummies like us who have nothing better to do than stay up all night and pretend that we are smart. You're on the right track. Stay with it. What is meant to be will be.

I was a 13 year old boy once and believe me, I knew when a girl liked me. He knows. Maybe he's shy. Maybe you have to be the one that breaks the ice. Walk up to him and tell him your name. Let Mother Nature take care the rest.

And please remember he's not a "white boy", he's just a boy you like.

I am black and I like white boys. It's the 21st century. Go for your dreams to get what you want in life. Don't let race stop you. It's just a skin color. Go for it. Good luck!

i think its beautiful that you see the heart and not the color of skin. i wish more people would be like that we'ld live in a much happier world. go for it. just talk to him get to know him. walk up to him and say hi, introduce yourself and ask him if he'ld like to eat lunch with you or go to a school event with you or something like that. who cares what anyone thinks. we're all the same regardless of color. i wish you the best.

It sounds like you already have his attention. It doesn't matter that you're black and he's white ... it just matters if you like each other. Next step is to talk to him. Make him feel special, ask him questions about himself, laugh when he says something funny, put your hand on him, flirt ... but not too much ... he has to meet you halfway and people tend to withdraw if you come on to strong.

Make conversation. Best way to get attention is to talk to them. Music, sports, movies, etc.

You're also mature for being 13, unlike the other people on here...
