Decide the biggest number in common with all terms. All are even and 4 goes into each. So, 4 is so far the GCF.

Decide the smallest exponent of the x's. x^3 is smallest, so it is the second part of the GCF.

Decide the smallest exponent of the y's. y^3 is smallest, so it is the third part of the GCF.

Altogether, the GCF is: 4x^3y^3.
