Unless they are supported by actual facts, never trust a gut feeling. Gut feelings are illogical and as often as not they are wrong. That sometimes gut feelings turn out to be true is not relevant. You may just as well flip a coin. Half the time a coin toss would be right too.

Have you had this feeling before? Have you been in previous relationships where you got cheated on? Are you a jealous person? These are things you need to ask yourself. Gut feelings are usually pretty good indicators, but I was married to a 'cheater' who had a strong 'gut feeling' that I was cheating on him after I found out about an affair he had, and I had not so much as flirted with a man other than him in the previous 5 years. His reasoning was that we weren't having regular sex. That was due to the depression I felt after learning about his affair, lol.

I don't think there are any classic signs cos everybody's different but you must have some reason for feeling this way other than your gut feeling? You know your partner so what is he/she doing differently to make you suspect this? I have to admit, i do go with my gut feelings, but usually there has to be some reason for me thinking that way to start with!
