My fiance says I'm a nut to believe anything bad that I hear/read (he's Jewish). My friend is from Egypt and has told me a few things that haven't been made the news here.

I do know that I have seen a documentary of 2 soldiers killing a woman in front of her 2 kids because she was not cooperating (inside their home). Afterwards they interviewed the soldiers and they said "I don't feel bad for it, I don't have to justify it".

But, Israeli's do have to be a bit nuts to live where they do. Sandwiched between crazy countries!

Citizen.. the last part of your post is far fetched. You didn't think more into it. If the surrounding countries attacked, Israel would be protected by every other UN's nukes and whatever forces necessary.

Did you also know that every country except the US believes that Al Qaeda had no strings attached to 9/11? Although they "admitted" it? Of course they'd admit it.. it's an honor for any small group of brains to take recoginiton of taking down a part of the most powerful country in the world.

We support Israel. They have very patent with the other countries around them. One of these days they will have to kick the crap out of someone, and we shouldn't stop them .

There is a big difference between Hebrew land of Israel in the Holy Bible and the modern Israel state created by zionists in Palestine in1948.
Those pious and god-fearing people loved their land and were true to their faith.
The zionists who came from Europe sought world sympathy playing the christian's;pogrom' card successfully. And made an exodus to Palestine during inter world wars period. And
used the "Hokocaust' card to gain world sympathy for the creation of a jewish state.
A jewish state surrounded by Arab states would be in eternal fear of destruction.Commonsense demands the tiny state to establish good neighbourly relations with others,
On the other hand, depending on the support of big powers of Eurpoe and US, it has been acting as the 'Bully of the Middle East,' right from its inception.
Post communism years saw that no one country could have mastery over weapons, And any one could get anything from anywhere.Iran has proved it. Hezbollah has successfully demonstrated it.
Now atleast if Israel understands its ground realities and behaves well every thing will settle down.

I am not Jewish but I have always been a big supporter of Israel and the Jewish people. I admire their tenacity and their willingness to fight hard against their opponents without regard for political correctness. Israel has done a lot of the work that the United States and Europe would have had to do.

I know that it looks rough and I have some sympathy for the children involved in the case you mentioned but that is an unfortunate reality in war, and it is war. When all of the countries surrounding you open swear that they will cause your destruction then you have to fight back and fight hard. Touchy feely political correctness is not an option for them.

Ask yourself this. If the Arabs don't believe the Bible and what it says about Jesus protecting the Jews (his chosen children) then why don't all those Arab nations attack Israel all at once? Look at a globe and see how small Israel is compared to the whole Arab nation.

Hmmmm......why????? Because they know the Bible to be true and they fear the reprisals for attacking Israel. In the Bible his prophecy states "that when you see my people occupy the Holy Land, my coming is nigh (near).

I dont have an unbiased opinion about Israel.

I have read several books on the subject, I check Israeli news sources on an almost daily basis, I have studied in Jerusalem as a student for 18 months, and I have several friends who live and come from Israel.

I cant have an unbiased opinion, I am simply influenced too much by what I know and what I have experienced.

I believe every country on this god forsaken planet has evil in its government. As the bible says, it does not belong to man to even direct his own step. Every country has proven this true by commiting disgusting acts disguised as something 'just' or in 'national defense'. One country is no better than another..... all are guilty of evils and treachery to other humans.
