I was just online today getting some stuff lined up - Best time of year to get Christmas cards done, too - very cheap. I say that, but I will wait until December to do mine, because it will be much easier for my kids to get in the mood....especially since it has cooled down to a mere 110 degrees here in central Arizona...

I start the day after Christmas from the previous year and stash. When you have children, neices, and nephews to buy for you have to or it gets way too expensive. I also shop clearance all year long. I work in a store so I'm always looking for a deal.

i start when i get my tax return. i tend to buy gifts all year long and put names on them and hide them away. This way i can hit all the major sales and get great stuff for a lot less than the christmas mark up.

that way i can enjoy the holiday season and only go shopping for fun. i spend a little time wrapping each present as nicely as i can after thanksgiving and then put everything away in bags to keep off the dust til it's time to distribute!

i never stress out during the holidays!

Usually about a few days before Christmas unless I see something ahead of time to pick up.
I'm a procrastinator when it comes to Christmas shopping. I find it works OK for me to do it that way.

Honestly, throughout the year. It's so hard for me to remember what my family/friends would like for Christmas so if I happen to see something I think one would like I pick it up. My mom does this too. Like mother like daughter :)
