Absolutely agree. That should also apply to celebrities. Vick is getting some public support because he is a celebrity. Not because of his color. If Vick worked in a mall and committed the same atrocities, no one would be coming to his defense to include the NAACP.

The main point is he broke the law regardless of what that law is and should be, looks as though, will be held accountable. Wish the same were true of politicians.

Some some dogs died? White or black doesn't matter to me... they are just dogs. Yeah I love dogs and I don't like dog fighting. But really. Not a lot of harm was done here, other than some sensitive types sensiblities. It wasn't as though Vick killed his ex wife and her boy friend?

Crime is totally unrelated to race. Crime is a trickling down of the weaknesses in a community. Poverty and a lack of decent paying jobs that pay people enough to live is a direct decendent of crime. Lack of education and lack of funds spread out evenly among the races is a decendent of crime. The end of the "family" that gave children the foundation they need to live correctly is dying and that is also a decendent of crime. Crime will only be tackled and reduced if we do things to improve the lives of those who whom we ignore.
