I have tried fertilizer and it turn green, but not dark green. Any suggestions?

Yes it is the type of grass but most golf course use sod not seed. also most have watering systems in place too. how the grass is cut also effects the look. golf course turf is very high maintenance!

It is the type of grass, the amount of nitrogen in your fertilizer (you need a lot) and a lot of water. Don't underestimate the water.

It has to do with your variety of grass. If you do not have a variety that is naturally that color you will not be able to achieve it.

add pellitized lime. forty pounds or more per 1000 square feet

try Ironite, it is an iron and mineral supliment for plants
