Assuming you are asking the cost, say x, of the statue.
so,
x + (x * 35)/100 =670
x + (x * 7)/20 =670
27x=20*670
x = 496.30

If $670 was 35% over cost then $670 = 135% of cost. Therefore 1% of cost = $670/135 = $4.963. Therefore 100% of cost = $4.963 x 100 = $496.30
