They said on tv it was due to jail overcrowding. I think she is done w/ jail now unless she offends again.

Think about how many people in LA commit a crime and are sentenced to jail. Now do you really think they can hold them all? No, so they pick the lesser of the evils (Nicole Ritchie or child molester, hmmm who do you pick?) then let them out early and hope that they at least got scared from the experience. If you live in a rural area your more likely to serve more time because they have room for you.

I don't think that she is going back. She should though. Celebs should not get special treatment just for being famous. Being pregnant, is a different story. She should be treated the same as any other inmate with her condition.

The cops said it was routine for anyone with a first-time conviction and senteced to under 10 days (hers was three days) to basically be processed (ie fingerprinting, mugshot, etc.) and released because of overcrowding in the jails. She was not given any special treatment.

I think they said there is not enough jails & thats true thats why heaps get away with murder so to speak!!!

because she famous, pregnant, and only was there to serve a 4 day sentance. they probally didnt have the space for her

she did time when they were figuring out what she did wrong and etc. thats why its not much and because she probably lap danced on the policemen
