Yes, you do need to write proper sentences "ON THIS THING" if you want people to take the time to read what you are writing. A chat room is one thing, but here you are asking people to take time out to give a bit of advice. Those who told you to bone up on your spelling and grammar are the only people who, in fact, showed ANY good advice.
Take a tip from them and show a bit of appreciation to those who take the time to lead you around with kid gloves.
So, you've just learned your first lesson in regards to becoming a writer. It's not the the weak at heart or those who are easily hurt or angered. A critique can cut you to the bone, or make a winner out of you.

Ouch, people are pulling the "proper sentences" card. It's true, but your grammar and writing are up to you to sort out. And as long as I can understand your question, I can answer it, so here goes.
I think Timothy and Christopher are okay for some regular guys, but I don't really like Tabia and Shelby. Tabia sounds like the oddball compared to the other names and Shelby sounds like a grandma's name ... unless your character *is* a grandma, but I wouldn't know, so ...
Oh, and I'm a huge chick lit // romance // teen lit fan, but I also like fantasy (not an overload, just mild fantasy), or any genre that is combined well with romance. I think the most popular genres of the moment are romance, fantasy, and thriller.
And about the title, don't worrry! Once you get into the story, you might find a phrase or a word that would make the perfect title.
Best of luck!

Just because other people write like that online doesn't mean you should- especially if you're asking questions about a book you're writing. If you can write in proper setences, do so. It'll give people more to go off of and they'll believe you a lot more.
I wouldn't call any kind of writing a "book" until I finished it and decided what kind of thing it is. A book is a finished project, just starting to write is not, really.
I have no idea what I think of your characters so far, because all you've given us about them are their names. Names can be anything- a really awsome character could be called Joe, and a really horrible character could be named the same thing.
I know a lot of people who like romance stories, but I know just as many who dislike it (as with all grenres they can be more popular at some times than others). A lot of genres are popular, you just have to go with what you write best- seriously.
I find that to pull your readers in you have to be able to write a very well put together story, it has to at least have some element of believability in it, there need to be laws to powers, etc. What I hear the most complaints about with a lot of writing is that there shouldn't be unlimited power (i.e. There should be consequences for using magic, etc.).
I can't say much about your story though, because you haven't given a plot summary, I have no idea who the characters are, and I'm actually having difficulty getting over the substitution of "u" for "you" and the various other bits of chatspeak scattered in your sentences- it makes me stumble when I read.
Edit: I'm sorry- I just re-read my post and noticed I rambled on a little.

I really don't know what to say. You have four names. You don't know what the book is about and you cannot write a proper sentence. What should I think? Pax - C
See actually you DO need to write proper sentences. You are here representing yourself as an author and asking people for an opinion of your work. How can anyone possibly form an opinion on someone who uses internet ghetto speak? If you are an author, you take pride in your work and what you write. ALL of it. You consider this just like you would consider sending a query to the biggest agent in NYC. From what you have written, you asked what people think. And the only thing people who don't know you can think from what you presented is that you cannot write. Would you care to show me something that disproves that? Always show pride in what you write. You never know who might be reading it.

I don't think anyone who posted already was trying to be rude. Since you're asking about popular books, they are (and I am) assuming you want to be published eventually, and presentation is important. It might not be that important on here, but when you get to your query letter or synopsis, or you're editing your book, it will be easier if you have practiced.
Anyway, about your book, we don't have much information. Do the names fit the characters? Why or why not? How do the characters feel about their names? Do they have nicknames? Will the story be told in first-person, by one of them? Will it follow all of them? How closely? You have many decisions to make.

Names are not as important as having a story. Fact is, as long as its good, people will read it, be it romance, fantasy, crime etc. That means good prose and an original/interesting storyline. I have written stories myself without naming the character till I'm done. I just write for fun though, to put in black and white all those stories and ideas running around in my head.

To me, "Tabia" sounds too much like a body part (tibia, labia). The others sound fine.
Right now, the most popular book is definitely fantasy (Harry Potter). Who knows how long that will last. Maybe the best thing to do is hedge your bets and write a dual-genre story. You know, like a fantasy/detective book or a fantasy/evil creature book.

Before you consider writing a book, it would probably be a good idea to learn how to spell and punctuate. You should also know that the first letter of the first word of every sentence, as well as the word "I," should be capitalized.
Your question sounds more like you're trying to come up with names for your children. I would imagine that it's more important to know what you're going to write about than it is to have a name for your book.
This is meant as constructive criticism, not a put-down.

well now that you have the characters, you need to think and develop the characters and personalities and then a storyline that is interesting and which all of the characters will fit in to. fiction is very popular among most readers today.
