yeah we don't react crazy when deers or rabbits or ducks are shot for sport, i feel just as bad for those animals

i hate when ppl saying hunting animals is ok compare to dog fighting

there both not ok..no matter who is doing it or what circumstances

if you have to shoot animal to save your life..or something

i think michael deserves a 2nd chance, he was at wrong place at wrong time

Most hunters kill deer ect.. for food. but even if it was just for sport atleast the animal would of died quickly and not tortured beyond belief. ppl who get off on watching tortured animals are sick sick sick

I have a better question. Why are you trying to justify what Vick did? He crossed a line that he will probably never be able to get back from. He was a great athlete but now he is a criminal. Just because he can play ball or is famous or whatever does not put him above the law. I'm sorry if this answer isn't what you wanted to hear but an example needs to be made of this guy to show that this type of behavior will NOT be tolerated. He had a special gift but HE threw it away. End of story. P.S. - A wild animal in a wild setting has a better chance of surviving than a dog that is born into captivity and shot in cold blood just because it isn't mean enough. GET IT? Well deer and other animals are hunter for there own good. If they weren't they would overpopulated areas ans starve each other out. And they are "hunted" and not tortured, no one is out there hanging or drounding deer and rabbits...he may deserve a second chance, but he has to pay the price and accept the punishment for his actions first.

This is a touchy subject with some- however, if you have ALL this money, find some other means of entertainment..seriously!! You have the world at your fingertips. If anyone has seen what happens to these poor dogs, and continues to participate- they are just sick and lack compassion..and i fear may possibly be dangerous people. Vick is the poster boy unfortunatley for him, but dog fighting is prevalent and needs to be brought to the publics attention.

I disagree with it. It's one thing to shoot an animal, usually for the meat, and another to pit two animals against each other to cause as much injury as it can. Those dogs don't know how to relate to anything or anyone after they've been trained to kill, so they're a danger to people or other animals. When they don't perform well, they're hung or drowned--I don't know too many hunters that come back from a bad duck hunt and murder their retrievers--and that is even more unbelievably cruel. I don't think he deserves a second chance. He knew what he was doing.

MIke dropped Michael Vick in 2007 so what's the undertaking. Edit: thank you for the replace. when I googled it I in basic terms have been given responses to Nike dropping him. I even have truthfully no longer offered any Nike products for years. the way I see it is...in case you do in comparison to their practices do no longer purchase the product.

I love football but think he should be jailed in a dog shelter for a couple of years so he could see how good his life is compared to a dogs. He had evidence of dogfighting at his house and he admitted to executing the dogs who didn't PERFORM right!!! HOW THE HELL DO YOU CALL THAT BEING IN THE WRONG PLACE AT THE WRONG TIME??

There is a huge difference between hunting and dog fighting. Most hunters eat what they kill, but most people that have dog fights don't eat what they kill. so they circumstances are completely different. michael vick is a dork that shouldnot be allowed to play Pro sports ever again. he should lose all wages from the current season and be stripped of any titles he ever earned.
