When I was only around 6 years old, Someone pushed my down into the pool, and since I could not only not swim, but didn't have any breath at the moment, I almost drown.

When I was in Antarctica, I rode with the foam truck (puts out plane fires). One day after we had met the C-141 and headed back to base, a truck broke down on the hill road and we were told to cut across the ice and pick up the air field road. All of a sudden, the trailer holding the foam machine fell through the ice. The tractor was caught on the edge. We were following the tracks of a D-8 Caterpillar bulldozer which puts only 8 lbs per square inch on the ground/ice. We weighed several tons and broke the ice. We all jumped out and stood staring at the trailer hanging over a chasm in the ice leading to the Ross Sea water. A D-8 bull dozer came out to pull the rig out of the hole.
A couple of weeks later, I was driving a 10 ton dump truck with 3 fuel bladders across the Ross Sea ice to the oil field when I realized I had driven between the flags marking the road. The road wound back and forth around cracks in the ice and red and green flags marked the edge of the road (red on your right...away from the base; green on the right...toward the base). My partner got out and walked behind the truck guiding me back on my tracks several hundred feet until we were back on the ice road. We could have fallen through the ice and no one would have known it until hours later. (1973)

I fell into a pool at the age of 6 and sunk to the bottom. Absolutely terrifying, haunted me ever since. I was rescued by a guy. Truely a GodSend!!! God was there for me, just like he was there for you :) thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
