I'm having a garage sale next weekend. How much change/bills and in what denominations should I get? FYI - all items are in 25 cent intervals.

One question that people ask me, is "how much money should I start off with?" Well that depends. If you have a lot of small, low priced items, I think around $80 or $100 is a good number. (two $10 bill, four $5 bills, 25 $1 bills, 1 roll of quarters ($10), and $5 in nickle and dimes.

Good luck, faith

A garage sale is a good idea. But i can't guarantee that you will raise 100 dollars plus shipping too (if there is any). Vases are a good idea to sell. Lamps too if they work. People will buy fake flowers but make sute they are clean and not dusty. That's a turnoff. If you want people to come to it then make signs and put them on telephone poles. Or put an add in the newspaper. Or you can do yard work for other people. Cut the grass etc. Babysitting and washing cars are ideas too! Good luck! Hope i helped!
