Let's just say yesterday was not my day. My manager at my county job work place told me that I struggled at a self defense class and he told me to come to his office. So there I am, Nervous as Helll and he said that I wouldn't be called in anymore to work there's other places out there for me... I had to be a man about it but after I shook his hand and left a tear came down my cheek and yeah I was kind of crying and if anything more mad just because I struggled with one course. I decided to go somewhere further away from that place and just sit in the parking lot for an hour and asking myself "What am I going to do with my life?" See all my co-workers were encouraging and supporting me because they know I'm a good worker but my manager on the other hand lost a good worker... and now I'm left with a minimum wage job that I currently have... Story of my life, yep complicated.

Poor you. Well, nothing anyone says now will help you, but you must believe that years from now, you won't even remember this. Hold down 2 jobs if you must, but if you can, save up enough to attend a course and better yourself. Tell yourself, one day you'll have a good job and you'll visit this manager and tell him the news and you'll thank him for getting you out of there. Talk to someone, a close friend, if you can. Here's a Big hug!!

12 years ago I was hurt pretty badly at my job. It was a good union job that allowed me a pretty good lifestyle. Unfortunately my injuries never let me get back the preformance level or earning potential I once had, so five years ago I realized it was time to pack it in.

I was devestated! I didn't know what I was going to do. I had a wife and three kids I was responsible for. Well to make a long story short, I now manage a team of 12 sales producers and I've never been happier.

Why am I telling you this? Because I have an idea of how you must be feeling right now. Remember my friend, when one door slams shut, another opens. Go find it!
