where would you like it put? Under better homes and gardens? or in the dining category? This category is about people.

No one should be offended. It's a section under Cultures and Groups. It's not like it says: Society and Culture > people with disabilities> LGBT. There is a section for general cultures and groups here too.
Y!A is very generalized and broad and their aren't as many categories as there should be. As of now books and writing is really the "harry potter" section, and music is the "high school musical"section .
What other Y!A category would we be under anyway? Food? Philosophy? Art? Sports?

Actually, if anyone were going to complain, I would think it would be the senior citizens! They are not disabled, and only 10 % if them are gay!
Look at it this way..if we were under Romance, we would have 50 times the straights butting in here..so what's your problem? Perhaps we could have a section to ourselves...then subdivide it: 10-15 year olds, 16-21 year olds, 22-30 year olds, etc....would that make you happier?

Y!A does some very strange things. I am frankly surprised that the group was not put with animal husbandry or something like that.
Does it bother me? nope, not at all.
When ever I can answer a young persons questions that provide them with acurate knoweldge then that is where I will go to help them out.

i find it slightly amusing. its a better emotion than being offended (not that there is anything wrong with people with disabilities its just that.. homosexuality isn't a disability) but you knew that :]
should we write to the y!a staff and ask them what the common factor between disabled people, senior citizens and LGBTs are? cause i don't see the logic..

I never really paid attention. Why should it bother me? Really all of us are in the same boat. Seniors and physically challenged people are looked down on, same as we are. They just don't get Christian bashing the way we do.

I dont think being gay is a disability, but i mean i guess that could just be me? hah.
but if we were grouped like alone, tons of people would complain about it and bother the shi* out of everyone 24/7

never noticed. you should bring that up w/ the people who run it. lgbt's are a group of people and so are seniors and the handicapped. im sure they meant no harm.

They do that because WE are the most likely to be accepting of these groups and not show discrimination against them. We should be honoured to have them in OUR group.

Hadn't thought of it that way. It's under cultures and groups and that's the way I think of it, and I'm okay with it I guess.
