305,000 American soldiers were wounded in the Vietnam War. I don't know of any figures on journalists.

According to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vietnam_War
"Casualities: U.S.
dead: 58,209 2,000 missing wounded: 305,000"

All of them. Anyone who managed to escape physical harm did not escape mental anguish and emotional damage.

What I want to know is who is paying attention to that same concept in Iraq. Marriages are breaking up at alarming rates. Suicides are up. Loss of limbs are rampant and this doesn't count those who have been traumatized. All war is hell.
