i think that those listed above are a sin. i do associate with some people who are gay but i highley disagree with it. if we were meant to be this way - some lesbian woman would have male parts and vis versa. it is unatrual. nothing against people who feel diffrently - but please share your views on this subject.

i dont think they will go to heaven because it says in the Bible it is an abomination and in the last days God will turn them over to their own perverted lust. So then if they were Christians (which they have to be to go to heaven) they would know it was a sin.

This presumes there is a heaven.

My feeling is that when we die, all of us are simply no more. there is no afterlife. The only way we continue to live is in the memory of those who knew us.

But, let's suppose that God did make the gays and lesbians. Why would he do that if he disapproved of them? Why does he allow hurricanes, disease, floods, fires, and war? A kind and benevolent God is a myth as evidenced by the pain and misery. Were Christian Crusaders any less guilty of sin when they murdered foreigners (many who were Christians but spoke a different language, e.g. Hungarians)? Should they have been allowed into heaven?

Who is without sin in there lives? Never cheated, had sex outside of marriage, stole, speeded on the freeway, lied, or been envious of others?

If God loves us ALL, he loves the gay and lesbian community too.

i have similar views on homosexuals and bi-s. i too have friends who are gay and bi, but my motive is "hate the sin, not the sinner". i do strongly disagree with gay marriage and homosexuality, but i dont think god would punish someone like that, as long as theyve been a good person.

Greetings! This question lit a fuse with me, so I will answer it this way:

soapbox alert!!!!!

Pick up your bible and look into the new testament. I want you to focus just on the red letter words of Jesus Christ, the man that all Christians are supposed to emulate.

Look at all of the things that Jesus had to say about Love.

Read all of the red letter passages that Jesus had to say about those who are rich (And while you are at it, watch a sermon by one of those tele-eveangelists in the multimillion dollar churches and strutting around in their thousand dollar suits and dresses).

Jesus had a tremendous amount to say about giving to the poor and assisting those in need (remember what he said about visiting prisoners, as an example?).

Jesus had a thing or two to say about judging others too, didn't he? Remember that thing he spoke of regarding the removal of the log from your eye before removing the splinter in anothers? Or what he said about about he without sin casting the first stone?

Now then, look through the new testament and find a passage where Jesus spoke DIRECTLY about homosexuality. I don't want you to focus on the black letter texts of Paul, Peter, Matthew and the rest. Just focus on Jesus' ABOSOLUTE message to those who are gay. I do not mean some obscure wordage -I mean Jesus Christ himself delivering a sermon or a message or a parable DIRECTLY toward homosexuality.

Want the answer? There isn't any. Not one. Zero. Cero, Zilch, nada, goose-egg, diddly squat.

I once again remind you that Christians are supposed to emulate Jesus' life. That said, when you think about what
Jesus had to say about rich men, love of others, support of others and awareness of sin in yourself and then compare all that to what he had to say ABSOLUTELY DIRECTLY to gays or about homosexuality, I think you get the message that it obviously wasn't important to Jesus. And don't begin to tell me that the lord and savior of all creatures in the world forgot to mention it...that would just make the argument much sillier.

If it wasn't at all imporant to Jesus, why should it be important to you? Take care.

PS...sorry for the soapbox, but this question struck a raw chord with me.

stupid question !
but here is one from me : What is heaven,
Where is heaven
and how would we get there?
Now I think I came from heaven to be on earth to suffer.
What for? I don't really know, or I forgot.

I believe they should not judge you by your sexual orientation or who you choose to be with, because then if we did do you think God would agree with everyone you have been with?

Peace & Love.
