So, he's pleading guilty to felony conspiracy charges. He's denying he killed any dogs himself, although those involved say differently, and we won't know the exact terms until monday. The judge is notorious for handing down long sentences (he could get as many as five years in the can). My question is WILL HE ACTUALLY DO ANY TIME?

To answer your question: The judge in this case is widely known for not giving a hoot about a celebrity and their status. I'm more than sure with the plea deal he struck already which calls for 12-18 months, I'm more than confident that the judge is going to try his best to make an example out of this creep who's now been suspended WITHOUT PAY, I might add, from the NFL FALCONS, as it should be. I'm sure the judge is wondering just whether or not the judicial venue is going to have to be moved from Surry County, VA. I honestly don't know how Vick thinks he's going to get a fair trial, especially as this is dragged out until his date in court on Nov. 26th. Frankly, I agree with Robin Starr, CEO of the Richmond Humane Association in an editorial letter today wrote: Here's the link:

Now that he's pled (not pleaded) guilty, he's totally implicated himself because these acts were committed on HIS property, folks!
Also, his little compadre's already turned state's evidence and that doesn't bode well for Vick at all!

BTW, there was a second article talking about Vick's own father who several years ago pleaded with Vick to stop this dogfighting and at least put the lands in other people's names to detach himself from any attachment with this activity. So if this little turd didn't follow his own father's advice, I'd have to say his number's up and he may get the maximum 5 years! Which he fully deserves because he willingly financed, took part in and brutally murdered these innocents! No sympathy!

The RTD had a Poll write-in and this is actually the letter by e-mail that I sent re: Vick's situation with the NFL Atlanta Falcons, my hometeam BTW, to Arthur Blank and pointed at Roger Goodell.

Here it is:

'With all the past hoopla associated with OJ's case I have to say it like this.

Both these persons, OJ and Vick, who call themselves human beings are in fact prime examples of CLASSIC ABUSERS! Notice that Michael Vick does not have a woman (who'd have his abusive ****?) on his arm! Needless to say, he indeed does have a dark side to his character, ergo: character flaws! If Arthur Blank and anybody else of the NFL want to sit back and wait to see how bad boy Vick is going to survive HIS jail time, I think Blank needs to have his head examined! The NFL clearly states that it does NOT support gambling or cruelty or association with that type of behavior!
In other words: I say to Arthur Blank: "Why don't you stand up, be a true gentleman and represent the NFL as you should, OR NOT!" You have
a charter and code of ethics to uphold and if you don't abide by that yourself, then you have no business representing the Atlanta Falcons!!!

The simple fact that the entire team is now coming forward and backing his sorry butt does indeed tell the upcoming generation just what kind of wimps you all truly are! It doesn't make a flip what his talent is, VICK tortured, electrocuted, shot and beat to death INNOCENT DOGS who just didn't measure up to Vick's sick agenda!!!!
Yo, Blanks, GET A GRIP!!!! Use your heart and your brain and kick him OUT! He does NOT DESERVE to play with the high caliber players that WERE his teammates!!!
I have lost all respect for you and your team if in fact you allow this creep to play again!!!!
My name
My city & state

P.S. I AM a native of Atlanta, GA. DeKalb County to be exact! This is a true disgrace to the likes of a fine team such as the Atlanta
Falcons!!! Are you prepared to lose many many fans if you allow Vick to come back, if you do, you are NO BETTER THAN HE!
Have a NICE season! '

end of letter.

If the judge upholds the prosecuter's recommendation of 12-18 months, he will be getting off pretty easy for that charge. 18-24 months is more likely.

As far as football, the NFL gave him an indefinite suspension, not a permanent one. Indefinite meaning not definite, meaning the length hasn't been determined yet. Which is appropriate at this time.

Michael Irvin said in is hall of fame induction speech that everybody makes mistakes, it is what you do after that determines your character.

Michael Vick has control over his destiny (and always had control). If he admits his mistakes, apologizes and is genuinely remorseful, people will forgive him. If he devotes his time to helping others and doing good deeds for the community, people will respect him. In addition if apologizies to the NFL commissioner for lying to him and putting the NFL in such a bad light, the NFL commissioner will forgive him and lift the suspension.

He will most likely never play QB in the NFL, but even with a year or two off, he could still make an effective kick returner.

His destiny with the NFL is in his own hands. The question is does Michael Vick have the character to play in the NFL

He will get a 18 month sentence and probably serve 15 months in a easy federal prison There are over 600 cases of dog fighting prosecuted every year and the penalty is generally 3 to 5 years for every dog killed.

Mickie Vick is getting off so light is isn't funny. He will be living in a low security prison and probably be spending the time chatting on the internet and making a rap video.

The Atlanta Falcons are going to get the $22 million back too that they paid him in signing bonus.

I don't understand how anyone can defend Mickie Vick.

Ricky Williams destroyed his career by hanging around the wrong kind of people smoking pot. He made the mistake of hanging around the wrong kind of people. He screwed his life up.

Mickie Vick did the same thing only worse.

I am tired of hearing anyone defend Mickie Vick.

I am so glad that Mickie Vick's arrest will lead to 100's of other arrests along the east coast.

He is getting off light.

I live in VA and this is constant news here. I believe he will do time, a minimum of a year. I guess he'll be quarter back in the longest yard now.

Don't you know the longest yard is the prison yard? That is where he will play now. It is going to be at least a year. And He will never play in the NFL again. No team will touch him.

My bet is he gets a sentence of 18 months, and does maybe 6 months in a prison, or less. You and I (without millions) would get 5 years.

Should he do any time? They were dogs.

Athletes beat their wives, assault people, and rape women all the time and no one bats an eyelash...Vick helps control the animal population and we freak out. Only in America does society care more about stupid animals than children.

The freaks on here just serve to illustrate my point. You have one nutjob hoping a pack of dogs eats Vick and another moron saying if he doesn't run fast enough he will be eletrocuted and hung. THEY WERE DOGS PEOPLE! You sad people watched one too many Disney movies.

He will definitely do time. While in prison he will be made to do wind sprints and if he does not "perform" he will be electrocuted, drowned or strangled.
