I didn't think that it was stupid. It ended almost exactly how I would have expected it to.

I thought it was rushed, not stupid. When an author reaches "the end" a lot of times they just want to be done, and not work on it as much, because it feels like it's over, and what is the point of working more. I think it needed to be longer, and have some moments when they reflected on those who died, or at least had someone give a speech about it. For example, Fred and George. It must be hard to lose a sibling, but to lose a twin, especially that close, would be devastating. And JKR never mentioned George afterwards. And the very last chapter was confusing with the repeated names. Too many introductions to characters who had been named after somebody else in the books. I think it would have been much more effective to have had the traditional epilogue, "So and so married so-and-so and they had such and such amount of children, who they named..." These are all earmarks of underdeveloped chapters written hurriedly by an author who saw the light at the end of the tunnel. But I still enjoyed the book.

Stupid's probably the one word you won't use to describe the ending. As with all good things coming to an end, one always wants more. I think JKR did a great ending befitting a great tale.

Anyway you didn't say why you think we should find it stupid. Maybe you might have a point. To be honest, I don't really get the exact meaning of your question as it's grammatically confusing but I hope I did get the point.

The last book may have been dragging in the middle parts (especially the camping) but in hindsight, everything was necessary. I really can't go on since you didn't say what's stupid in the ending. The way the last chapter was written or the inclusion of the Epilogue or the way the Epilogue was written?

If you are asking about the final chapter, not the epilogue, there were times when it seemed a bit rushed. However, in thinking back a bit while it could have been more fleshed out often, in life, things happen that way. There have been several events in my life where, when everything finally reached a climax, it seemed like it was over before it began. So I think that, in a way, JK was trying to capture this. The fact that critical events do not always take a long time but can be over before you realize what is happening.

If you are asking about the epilogue it was vague and had an unfinished feel. But that is what JK wanted. She had written a detailed epilogue according to one interview but changed her mind. She wanted us to be peering through a haze since; after all, we are seeing the future. She left it vague both in the writing and in the description of the scene. It was hazy, with the steam from the train obscuring the platform. The characters could hear others talking but their forms were indistinct. She wanted an unsure feeling about it and indeed, wanted to the reader to find it unfinished.

While I Don't Think It Was Stupid, I Do Think It Could Have Been Better. However, The Author And Many Readers Seem Quite Satisfied.

Spoilers!!!
I thought it was cute. I especially liked when Ginny told her son to give Neville love, and then he was like, "Mom, I can't give a teacher love!"
