I wrote She did not have water to replenish herself.Mary fainted motionlessly on the ground.Now the problem is that .i don't understand why my teacher say that replenish only can use it on cupboard but not on here.so how i going to write next time.

you can use re-hydrate, or use an online thesaurus and see words for re-hydrate. I think replenish you can like fill up an inanimate thing, a container, but it doesn't mean the same as to re-hydrate, hydrate means to put the liquid back in that is needed to stabilize the living thing. Even like watering your plants

Replenish does mean to refill.
A better word is 'rehydrate' which means put water back.
