Well I wouldn't spell April differently, it's pretty with this spelling.
Avril is the french name of April. For example, Avril Lavigne, the singer.

April is the proper spelling and I think that spelling a common word differently just for the heck of it can cause problems when they get to school. I am not in favor of it. I taught in a school where there were 9 different ways of spelling Shaniqua. It was a nightmare.

April is such a pretty name, and weird spellings of names can make it difficult for other people in her future. School, government, etc...BUT, if you must, April could be spelled Apryl.
