Like my question earlier about the angel. Will they praise that person or will they use that person as a specimen? And will they accept that person or will they label that person a mutant (like in X-men)? Again, what do you think?

they would beat the F-cking S-hit out of him or her because he or she is different from what is set in the beaten path because humans are stupid and they wont and dont like to accept change.

If the government or the CIA or whatever it is in America found it, then it would be popular opinion that they would hush it up and study them. I personally don't believe conspiracy theorists that say they would torture it, take it apart etc but each to their own.

If however, a regular human being discovered it well there would probably be a media frenzy for a start. Which is a good thing, because it's hardly likely it could be hushed up or kidnapped by the governent after such exposure.

Further, as a human being, it would have basic human rights that normal humans do, rights such as liberty, freedom from torture etc that would *hopefully* protect them and keep them from being treated as a specimen (unless of course there is consent).

I think there would be debate on a massive scale about whether the powers are real or an elaborate fabrication.

Regarding acceptance, there would no doubt be incredible interest in it - some would fear it, some would be in awe, some would be excited (scientists especially), most would be intrigue.. I think there would be a general acceptance but also a fear of the unknown. So perhaps in certain societies the person would be an outcast.

Just my 2 cents :)

Probably ship them off to Seattle Washington (where all the sci fi shows take place) and put them in labs so that they would never have human contact again.. Well that is what the government would do.. If a person like me found one I would become friends and use the person the help me annoy the people I don't like. MUHAHAHAHA! lol Just Kidding.

They would try to take that person apart and check why they were the way they were so they could use the DNA and make more of that human.

They would try to trap and study that person like an animal to see what makes them so powerful.

SPECIMEN

are you kidding? humans are completely enveloped in greed. some rich person who wants to be richer will hire a group of scientists to study and duplicate the superpower and then sell it and make millions of dollars. then everyone will be superhuman. and then...no one will be.

Look on this site. Anyone who says they have experience with God, have seen miracles, ghosts, spirits, hear angels, etc. is labeled crazy by some.

They'll torture that person,
they'll want to investigate it dissect it, perform experiments
Americans will want to have his or her powers, or should I say, the government will want it, so they'll break it open to copy it's powers to see if they can create it in laboratories, or better yet they'll try to make it breed with themselves so that their offsprings could become powerful.
Americans are sick
