No. It was a traumatic experience for me. My dad held me down, tied dental floss around it and and yanked. It flew across the room and we couldn't find it. My parents said the tooth fairy would find it and I got my dollar under my pillow. I should have gotten 20 bucks, because the whole ordeal lasted over an hour and I was screaming and scared out of my mind. My dad is a dic/k.

Well when I still believed in the tooth fairy I had this special pillow. It was mini and it had a string and a picture of the tooth fairy. It had a pocket to put the tooth in so, we'd hang it on the bed and then in the morning money would appear magically. Ooh, spooky!!

yeah but it quit being fun 1 - once I found out that the tooth fairy was my mom which wasnt too long into the process and 2 - once my mom blew her cover. The "tooth fairy" didnt come and then I told my mom and she is like ohh she will come tomorrow. And then a little later after she "took a shower" she told me to look something up on the computer (I put it outside of my room because I am a light sleeper ) and there was money.

Yes, I did, and now as the family Tooth Fairy, I am putting money under my children's pillows in exchange for small teeth. The tradition carries on. :o)

I put it under my pillow, but I knew it was my parents giving me money, not the Tooth Fairy lol.

Yes I did, and the tooth fairy rewarded me with a brand new dime (Of course, that was in the late 50's early 60's.) I remember once getting a quarter. Boy did I feel rich :-)

Yes and I'm 56 and they are wanting to fall out again, but since there is no tooth fairy for 56 year olds, I have to pay the dentist instead of the fairy paying me, life seems to go downhill :)
