I have 17 pairs of socks and 8 odd ones, would somone mind explaining to me what the hell that is all about?

If you have 17 pair and eight odd ones, you have 17 pair and 4 pair of mismatched ones. Just wear them with long pants if you are socially self-conscious. It's what I do. I am proudly mismatched. One day I even wore two different shoes, but that was an accident...

Ahhhhhhh ha !! The age old question that has been around since the invention of the shoe !! There for I blame it on the cobbler elves . They are forever stealing socks to keep up with the production of shoes !! With out the sock there is no way on earth that they can come up with a perfect fit. Also please note that it is always our most favorite pair that comes up missing it's mate.

I am convinced that there are little elves that steal socks....maybe they get in through the vent. I am forever searching for lost socks, to no avail.
My only other suggestion is to look between the washer and dryer, as well as behind and under them.

Is the problem that you have seventeen pairs of socks, or eight old ones? Cause I figure you can buy three more pairs of socks to even out the number, and you could toss out the old seven pairs of socks. This should make you very happy and pleased with yourself. lol!!!!

The little gnomes come into your house in the middle of the night and take one of your socks to use as their home. Somewhere out there is a little village made up of odd socks with gnomes living in them.

Your dryer ate them. Some of my socks magically disappear after I put them in the dryer. Maybe some fell into the "black hole" of socks...aka, between or behind the washer/dryer.
