There is a Norman Rockwell painting life out there for us, we just have to care enough to FIGHT for it. Stop watching any media that shows "human attack human" and send a message that we do not want to be trained as "attack drones" the constant barrage of this in the media, actually leads people to believe we are like this by nature, but in reality most people face to face are polite, cordial, engaging, and even somewhat trustworthy to a point, at least to the possibility of further interaction, if interests comingle. Consider how the effect on impressionable youth in Arab nations, who are always playing roles of violent terrorists, and wonder if there were sitcoms dipicting positive all inclusive realationships, between all of us in our human group, would have stoped all the wars before they had a chance to be considered. The war is not in Iraq....but in the sincerity level of the rest of us here in America, where we are supposed to be the example of different cultures working together.... not the complete joke of it. Believe me if somebody told me at age 21, that I would be some "Oprahish" goodie 2 shoes guy, I might have "***** slapped" him, but when I contemplated our human group, so different than any other being group, with the murder!murder!murder, one starts to see how other reasonable concepts could have done so much in projecting the "Team Human" populate the universe direction. There are only 2 eventual inevitabilities for our species.....connection or extinction. Every religion, cult, philosophy, movement etc.. has the same theme, "connection". We can either strive and insist upon a vibrant community of trusting relationships, or allow a suspicious, dubious environment, of endless litigation, where we take turns suffocating prosperities "chance to happen". Spread this thought ...."you cannot make your boat float better, by sinking someone elses....you will only have frantic people, pulling on the edge of YOUR boat....but a "rising tide" raises ALL the boats...and there really is room for all, and the interactive universe wants us to succeed!

I have pretty strong opinions, but as a retired school elem teacher, I feel not enough appropriate attention is paid to young children, kind of like neglecting your tomato plant until it is time to harvest the fruit, that doesn't bode well and then these emotionally neglected kids turn out kind of icky and add lots of negative behaviours to get attention as children will get attention any way they can, if you don't give them positive, they will go straight for negative, I know, I had 30 every year :)

because humans a drawn to chaos and destuctive nature. Its compelety natural though most wont admitt. The news can see that they get better results with negative stuff than postive when on air. Its nothing new to hear bad news in fact its almost normal to hear it everyday.

I agree with the media thing, setting stupid standards n spreading rumors n all.
But I think it'z mostly cuz kids nowadays take their freedom n evrything else for granted. They don't know n can't appreciate how much our forefathers had done to make our world the way it is now.

Because that's all we ever hear on tv, in movies, in the lyrics of songs. In the 60's we had the Viet Nam war, but the songs were basically uplifting, happy songs. TV shows were funny, people didn't take themselves too seriously like they do today.
