Is it something to do with wrong zip\postal code? I believe I have written it correctly but who knows? Oh,we chose to send snail mails.

No. Australia Post are really good at getting letters through. Even if you had the wrong postcode it is still obvious where it is going so would just be a day or two late. You are writing the incorrect address. What does it say on the letters? Sometimes they write "moved" on them so you have to get the new address.

If it is the same address you have successfully sent letters to then either they have moved, you are writing it wrong or they don't want to receive any more correspondence from you.

You're not shallow, but there does have to be some sort of an attraction between you visually,he could be the best looking guy around but it doesn't mean that spark will be there between you. The least I would have done is ask to see a photo of him somewhere down the line in the last 2 years before meeting up,especially when he's coming to stay with you for a whole weekend. If you don't have some sort of an attraction to him when you meet, this weekend together is going to feel like a year.

You are not using boomerang stamps by any chance, are you?

Usually if mail is returned there is a note on the envelope explaining why, the most common being "unknown at this address" or "no such address". Australia Post will certainly try. If you have the right name and street name, they will often find the right address despite the wrong street number, suburb, Postcode or even State. Check the address. You could look up your friends in the telephone directory http://www.whitepages.com.au and check their address.

Australia Post is very good at getting mail through to the right address.

Is there another way to check the address of your penpal? Maybe you have the street name spelled wrong or you have the wrong street number. Maybe you can check the name and suburb in the white pages online. that may be able to confirm the address

Or do you have a phone number where you can call them, and confirm that the address is correct.

Good Luck
