I have a question about my comp's compatibility with a graphics card.?

Would my Compaq Presario sr1300nx with an added ethernet card, dvd drive, 512 megs of ram, and a 320 gig sata hard drive be compatible with a radeon diamond stealth 9550 graphics card?

YES, your PC has an AGP slot. Radeon 9550 is an AGP card.

Your motherboard should have an AGP connection on it so yes it should work however you should check you power supply as it may not be a high enough wattage to support the video cards needs.
