I have a bike I've only ridden 3 times. I am moving out of the country. I'd like to donate it to an orphanage. My husband says he wants to sell it. What do you think?

Tell your husband that there is more to life than just a little money....

Yes, I donate; money, time, clothing and household stuff. Donate it! I've moved from coast to coast twice and gave away what I didn't need. In the grand scheme of things, only you and your hubby know if you need the money from the sale of the bike. Follow your gut.

I think you should sell it. I am sure you will have many other leftover things that would benefit a charity and you'll need all the cash you can get for your move.

i give the out grown clothes to the goodwill and give to the good will when i see them out i put my change in my pocket in the red bucket and i donate food cans to the americas harvest thing i use to go to a hope house thing and buy presents for kids there but now i just give them money

yes I give but now I'm broke and almost homeless but it really doesn't matter about me because there is people who have had worse than I do and if giving just a little helps change the world then thats what needs to be done.

Why dont you sell it and give the money to some orphan so they can buy something else theyd rather have. Either way your doing good.
