I was scared out of my mind, and seeing the heartbeat for the first time, I had an ultrasound done when I was three months along and all I could make out was this bean shaped fetus and a little rapid heartbeat, this was real confirmation I knew life would change me forever. Ever since that ultrasound we have always called our son bean. He's sixteen months old now but I will never forget. Good luck! Oh and my husband scared too, he was more scared than I guess it was just mother instinct.

Terrified ! I wasn't ready yet. (I was 25) I had it all planned out,
I was going to wait until I was 30, have my own home, saved enough money, etc.etc., But, when I felt that baby move for the first time, it brought tears to my eyes, it made it so real !
I was no longer terrified, I was just tickled pink! (The baby was a girl)
Just make sure they give you an instruction manuel !
Hugs and many Blessings,
Fran

I was thrilled. I had to ask twice to confirm the good news and then I was so happy I wanted to phone everyone I knew but waited until my husband came home to tell him first. I have never been so deleriously happy. I cherish both my kids and grandskids.
