Barbara Steisand - 'The Main Event' & 'Prince Of Tides'
Cher - 'Silkwood' & 'Mask'
Mick Jagger - 'Freejack'
David Bowie - 'The Man Who Fell To Earth' & 'The Hunger'
Sting - 'Dune' & 'The Bride'
also
Mandy Moore, Lindsey Lohan, Vanessa Williams.
Meat Loaf, Leon Helms, Dolly Parton.
Kenny Rogers, Olivia Newton-John, Glenn Frey.
All the above have made many movies that had nothing to do with their singing abilities. :-) There are soooo many more. Too many to mention.

sure there has plenty i can only think of a few but let's see Faith hill was in stepford wives ( think thats how you spelled it)
travis tritt willie nelson kris kirstopherson merle haggard randy travis tim mcgraw toby keith have all been in movies that they didnt exploit their singing carreer
also since those are all country singers sorry
nelly was in the longest yard with adam sandler that had absolutely nothing to do with his singing career

Henry Rollins,Mick Jagger,Anthony Kedis?(chili peppers),...Hell even Meatloaf in Fight club.... Just a few singers I know that didn't utilize their singing in movies....
Mick was in Freejack with Charlie Sheen...Kedis in Point Break (minor role) with Bussey and Swayze . Flea was even in it...
