yes, if i love someone genuinely, i lose all reasoning and i would willingly give up my life for them because i am emotionally weak and would rather suffer than to see someone i love suffer, i am so emotionally weak that the fear of losing someone i love is always in the back of my head everyday, i'm sure others can relate

Definitely - I have no doubts about that at all. My younger sister was ill for many years and passed away in 2005. I prayed so many times that she would get well, and that her illness would transfer to me. I would have changed places with her in a minute and still would.

I can think of about three people I could die for, because i don't think I would be able to live without them, my two best friends who are like sisters to me, Amber and Taylor, and the one I love, Mitch.

Wow...tough question. I love my children very much, but they are older and no matter how much advise I give them, they don't do what I advise them. So, they are causing their own demise.

I love my children very much, but if they are dying of something they caused to themselves and it would be my life to save them, I don't think I could do it because they would just screw it up again later.

No because that would just make them sad that I died for them. I would rather take the pain of loosing a loved one than them having to loose me. Does that sound selfless, or selfcentered?

easy without thinking about it, what I find hard to do is to say yes I would, for those that wish me harm like Christ did. Wish I knew I could do that.

Of course not. How can we expect those we love and those who love us to carry on knowing we sacrificed our lives for them to live on?
