Enjoy this magical spectacle of the nature and try to protect her. If other people are around I'll be sure no one gets to close or tries to steal the eggs. If possible call Fish and Wildlife or your local environmental agency and report what you saw and the exact place because usually they keep record of the nests.

I would consider it to be one of the luckiest things to ever happen to me and most certainly I would respect her space, but I would watch. Turts are in a trance when they lay eggs, so it wouldn't bother her as long as I respected her. I would def. take all kinds of pics with my phone since that would prolly be all I had on me in way of a camera. it would most likely be nighttime, but id still try anyway. I love turtles so much and its amazing how they go through the process of egg laying. (ive watched my yellow belly do this many times). Sea turtles are probably the most beautiful turtles, and i would feel so privaleged to witness that.
ive been lucky enough to volunteer with these animals at a local aquarium. i even got to hold baby sea turtles that were being rehabilitated :)

Turtles do not lay eggs in front of people. turtles go out at night from the sea and lay eggs in large groups in secret, and when they have been layed, the rangers make fences around them so no one disturbs the eggs. its not possible!

well turtles usually lay their eggs in a little hole that they make before laying them but iff that is not the case i would find a spot cole to the ocean and bury them so that when they are born they dont have to travel as far to get to the ocean thus having a less chance of being eaten or killed by other animals. :)

Definitely retreat and leave her alone. Remember, it's illegal to tamper with turtle eggs (talking about marine turtles-and threatened or endangered species).

leave them alone and let nature take it's toll. maybe you can help the baby turtles get into the water when they hatch because only 1 or 2 out of each litter makes it there without getting eatin.

This usually occurs at night. Watch the spectacle, and if necessary, alert the authorities so they can protect the nest.
