There's this guy I know fairly well who's in band with me and I've found out that he wants to ask one of my best friends to homecoming (not directly from him though) I really want to talk to her about it or prepare her for it but I don't want to ruin his chance. The thing is I pretty much know she doesn't like him back even though she would go with him to homecoming just to be polite. Any suggestions on how I can help the both of them without hurting either of them? I really want to tell her the secret!!

don't say anything you might ruin his chances and hurt him really bad I accidently did that eith my friend leave him to do it himself and watch closley for fun

If she doesn't know he wants to ask her, and he doesn't know that you know, then you ask him to Homecoming before he asks her. It saves you both and you get a good date.

just say that someone will ask you out to homecomming but do not tell anyone
