yea. but dont worry. they'll have their time on judgement day. All that we can do is pray for them and try to get them to convert before its too late.

In a battle of wills and beliefs, there will never be a winner...until the end of days. Whether Christian, Atheist, or any other religion (or lack thereof) people will always be convinced that what they personally believe is correct. People want to create there own realities based around their beliefs. The truth is that it doesn't matter what Athiests, Christian, Buddhists, Muslims, Jews, or others believe reality is. There are only two things certain...we were born and we will die. No matter what anyone believes or thinks the truth is, there is only ONE truth and ONE reality that we all live in together. That reality is not changed or affected by our personal beliefs. In the end, either one conviction or none will be correct. So, what will it be? Heaven or Hell? No Afterlife? Reincarnation? Endless drift in a dark void? There are so many different beliefs out there that its mind boggling.

Yes, I am a Christian. Yes, I respect Science. Most importantly, I respect other peoples convictions. I might not agree with them, and even think they are idiots, but they have a right to believe in whatever they want. It doesn't affect me or my life at all. Most Christians are about 'saving' others. Screw that. If there really is an Eternal Paradise on one side and Eternal Fire on the other then we will all end up in one or the other. If there really isn't an afterlife, then we will know when we stop existing. In the end, we need to look out for ourselves and let other learn the hard way. Or we will learn the hard way. What it comes down to is time. We will see.

If anyone here is still wondering why the world is currently at war, the answer is in this question and the questioner's comments. Intolerance, contempt for others and especially the refusal to even listen to those who believe differently will wipe the Human species off the face of the Earth. If we can't learn to let others believe differently, we're all going to suffer the consequences.

I believe in God, but I also cherish science. But I agree with some of the others above me. Some people think differently, and it can't be helped, He gave us free will and maybe they choose to believe in something other than Him, but if the Bible is correct, even though it breaks a commandment, God is not the kind of "person" to punish someone for "ignorance". Though some Christians are alot ruder, and scarier than Atheists.

That's unfair.
They are probably equally as sick of YOUR comments as YOU are of theirs.
Recognize that they don't believe the things you do and that you don't belive the things they do. Try not to let what they say bother you. You say you are Christian-- if so, remember that the bible says Jesus loves everyone. If Jesus can handle atheists, surely YOU can. Also, you don't seem very accepting and tolerant of those of other beliefs, something which doesn't seem very christlike to me either.

I'm sick of rude comments period no matter from whom it comes. Atheists aren't the only ones and not all atheists are rude. I've seen rude Christians and Muslims too. I've also seen kind Christians and Muslims. It's not that they're atheist, it's that they are just rude people.

Don't worry. Take a deep breath, they're only humans. Some people just have different minds or different ways of thinking. I'm with you, I believe in god.

stay away if you don't like to let other people have their own beliefs.

that's exactly why i'm no longer a so-called christian, found too many of them to be too intolerant & judgmental -- but i suppose you won't be reading my answer anyway since it doesn't agree with your beliefs

I agree we are not called to acknowledge them when they are rude. Not all are like that but most I have read here are.
