Just because China has a horrible Human Rights record.
Just because they have crappy working conditions.
Just because their lack of quality control caused massive recall of dangerous toys, that's NO reason to spit on giving away American jobs for more profit!
Where are your priorities?
Profit first -then people!

Companies have to remain competitive in today's markets. They cannot magically lower prices and raise salaries. Companies have to find ways to cut costs. Sometimes that means going off shore. While it would be nice if they did not have to, if they did not consider off shoring, they would just go out of business. By moving some jobs off shore, they save other jobs. Sometimes they even expand the other jobs. What jobs remain behind are better paying. If a job could be effectively off shored, then it should be considered when a company wants to keep profits high enough to be a viable concern.

There is no reason for a company to be in business if it is not a top player in its fields, if it cannot make a profit, and if it cannot have a future in the industry.

Sorry, but unless you can offer a way to offset the labor savings or increase the company's profits, I cannot think of a good excuse.
