Since its summertime and all, i've developed the habit of sleeping at 3 AM everynight and waking up at 1 PM just because i can. Now its really bothering me because i feel like im wasting so much of my day asleep! Anyone have any tips on how I can fall asleep more quickly so i can wake up earlier??

Stay up one whole night without going to sleep. Don't take any naps the next day. The next night should be easier to sleep at an earlier time. It will take a while to start sleeping earlier. This also means star getting up earlier also. About an hour before you want to go to bed, star reading something. Book, bible, magazine. This usually helps to put you into the sleepy mode. Especially if you are laying down in bed already.

the easiest thing to do would be to set an alarma an make yourself get up earlier, then you would be tired and go to sleep earlier. Short term your could take 1-2 benadryl tablets to make yourself tired at 9 or 10pm and then you would get up at 9 or 10 am and should be able to fall asleep the next night.

I'm doing that very same thing. I do it every summer =P. What I do is to set my alarm clock to 9:00am then 8:00 then 7:00am. That way I wake up earlier and sleep earlier. Wearing yourself out by working out helps too. Or doing really boring things

Your body is now in the pattern of going to bed at 3am. The best way to change the pattern is to wake up earlier. So don't get up at 1pm - get up earlier. Then you will be tired earlier. Example. For the next two nights, go to bed at 3am but wake up at 10am. Then you will start to get very tired at 2am. So for the next two nights go to bed at 1am and then get up at 9am.... however you do it, just get up earlier so that you get tired earlier and then you can go to bed at a reasonable time like 11pm or midnight instead.

Work out yourself and try to make yourself tired. That will put you to sleep. Usually stress does it.
I go to sleep usually early because my mom makes me stressed with chores...>.<
