Having used "Time-Outs" effectively over the years with many children, I find, setting a child aside for a few minutes to think about their actions,is a good way to change behavior and teach responsibility.

It is now that they are old enough to be ticked off about it (6 & 8). Grounding works too.

no,not personally. I had good kids though, never needed anything extreme. Just a look, or a couple of words would usually get them to do what they had to.

no way I think time in the ring with papa would be more appropriate
