I hate that people get together just to do that. It makes me not want to go. Why cant a group of people get together and have a fun time without getting "wasted?" I have fun without drinking. The best part is the next day i dont feel sick and i can remember what i did the night before.

Last summer my friend went to a party. She drank a lot and she had sex with a guy she hardly knew. She got pregnant and had a child at 16 years of age. The father hasnt been seen since. She wanted to loosen up and have fun at the party and she ended up getting a child. Not that i dont love her child, but she cannot fufill her career dreams now.

Not everyone that drinks will get pregnant but gilrs have been raped and beaten because of drinking so I choose to never drink. I am not against people that have an occasional drink. I just choose not to drink. Just wanted to clear that up.

Of course you can have fun without alcohol.

It's just that uptight people don't know how to relax without some chemical. A moderate amount isn't bad, but too many people can't stop before they get too drunk or stoned and it's not fun for the people around them.

I think it's possible. The thing with alcohol though is that it can let you unwind, and take the edge off. Set a better mood to allow you to have a better time. At most just enough to sustain a "buzz". There is definitely a huge negative side when tou consume to much.

I don't find it very fun to go to a party, get drunk, do stupid stuff, make a fool out of myself, maybe throw-up all over the place. Now I want YOU to tell ME how that's FUN.
When I go to a party, I like to have fun and remember the next day what I did without being embarssassed.

When I was pregnant and we all get together everyone would drink except me and it was funny just watching everyone else makes fool out of themself. I can have a great time without the alcohol.

If you are friends with people who think that then the answer is probably no you can't have fun unless you are partying or drinking. But it is possible.

Yes I can. I never drink while partying and I always have fun.

I always have fun, probably more than most, I get to set back and laugh at everyone else, I haven't touched a drop in years, not worth the DUI or DWI.
