I'm 18, male, straight, but I am grossed out by the appearance of the vagina!

I mean, I find women's curves, chest, rear attractive but it's just the vagina that comes across as a nasty piece of skinless meat?

Don't get me wrong, yes I'm a virgin and I've only seen vaginas of pornstars and even a few minutes ago I was watching porn and the girl was taking a metal chain out of her labia! My eyes couldn't take it.

Don't compare porn to real sex. It's different when you are in the moment and you really love the person, compared to just watching some gross old porn stars going at it.

I kind of understand where you are coming from... Just yesterday my boyfriend and I were talking about how if you aren't 'in the mood', sex sounds disgusting.
The thing is, once you find a girl you really love and want to please, you'll probably snap out of it.

Eh, it could be you'll grow out of it. I don't really like looking at vaginas, but then again I'm a straight girl. It is a bit weird though because most guys seem to be attracted to them. Perhaps you are actually gay or need to see a real one when you're turned on, instead of watching crap with metal chains. I have an uncle who always said to me,a woman in sexy clothes,underwear etc was a far bigger turn on then seeing a naked woman.I have to agree with him,but on this question I neither like or dislike the sight of a woman's vagina.Its a personal taste I would expect.

Maybe it is because you are looking at the porn, where they are taking "metal chains" and who knows what else etc out of them! Why not look at a medical book, or simple art, or even look at a video of childbirth where you will see the woman's body as an object of beauty and respect. You are getting the wrong picture, you need to see a normal body, not a stereotype.

Before you just go throwing around how ugly the vagina is to you... have you ever thought about how ugly your parts are to a virgin girl... or experience girls... either way... there is a slang phrase about sex in regards to your observation, "Bumping Uglies". Ok here is my take on that. I feel that porn stars have a "dirtiness" about them. They tend to have a "beat-up" looking one and that leads to the grossed out feeling. Once you have a real connection with a woman it should change.

porn is NOT the real thing, you can't take it directly at face value (you'd be hard pressed to find a girl so kinky as to pull a chain out of herself). though many guys don't think a vagina is particularly lovely, if you like the girl enough, you won't care what it looks like, and you'll want to please her regardless. if you care about her, you won't be thinking about just any random person's vagina, and you won't even think twice about your hang up.
